CHALLENGER DIVISION IS MOVING TO LAKESIDE, CA

IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!

We are please to announce that our unit will be relocating to the east county.

Tierra Del Sol Middle School will be hosting our unit for our monthly drills.

This location will be more convenient for our cadets and their families.

For the next few months Challenger will be having drills as follows:

On Saturday's we will be at the Point Loma location and on Sunday's

we will be at Tierra Del Sol Middle School (TDS). This will continue until our move is complete.

Please be sure to check our calender and the POM for updates on this move.

The move to TDS is finally here. We are going to be joint drill for a couple of months to

allow us to move our offices and necessary supplies.

Some upcoming events are Annual Inspection, NLCC Flagship in March, and NSCC Flagship in April.

We need to ensure we are prepared for these events. Practice – Practice – Practice.
Keep up the excellent work and continue to excel. Our units have so much to be proud of.

Our heritage is important for what we stand for and how we do things.
Welcome to all our new cadets joining us from TDS and surrounding area.

Tactical Field Training:

The site for the Tactical Field Training is the same as last year.

Cleveland National Forest-El Prado Group, Manzanita Camp Site.

The date is set for June 11-13, 2010. A gear list will be forthcoming.

There is a lot of planning that will take place with this. Any questions see the Executive Officer.

Renewals

Per NSCC Regulations, if your ID card is expired you are unauthorized to be at drill.Renew it before it expires.

Enrollment fees are due the month before your ID expires.

Please send a check with the Cadet on Saturday morning.

Recruiting:

As you can see, Challenger and TS Columbia are both growing. This is great for the future of both units.

We should continue to strive to recruit more and more potential cadets. You are our best recruiting tool.

Continue to bring people into Challenger/Columbia. We are glad to have them.

Challenger Division Annual Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday 21 MAR 2010 at TDS from 1:00-4:00pm. This event will be a lunch, and families are invited. Check your email for further info that has been sent out.
